'The ocean is shrouded in mystery': Thread Covering Some of the Ocean’s Rarest and Most Interesting Animals and Phenomena

As people who love animals, one of the things that we love the most is discovering more about them. Because there is so much to know! Because no matter how much we learn, there is always more, there is always something new, and we have already learned so much! We have learned the truth about fossils in the Appalachian mountains, and we have learned that the tiny itty bitty black-footed cat has a higher kill rate than lions and we have learned that sometimes, octopuses punch fish for no reason other than spite.

We know so much about animals and nature, and yet, we also know so little, and the thing that embodies that the best is: the ocean, of course. It covers more then 70% of the Earth, and yet, we still know so little about everything that is going on down there. We don't even know all of the animals that live there, but the animals that we do know… well, look for yourselves.

It's crazy how little of the ocean we actually know. It's such a huge part of the Earth. We're making overtures into space, and we're thinking of going to other planets when one of the biggest mysteries on Earth is right here, and we are not looking into it nearly enough.

And then… we see pictures like this, and we think that maybe we should not look into it anymore than we do. Because although we don't know too much about what is down there, the things that we do know are… to be honest, kind of scary.
